Politics and Electronic Media have always had a marriage of convenience when it comes to Political canvassing. Be it Radio in 1930 by Franklin.D Roosevelt, TV IN 1961 by John. F Kennedy or World Wide Web by Barack Obama in 2008 they have demonstrated the power of that marriage. For us to copy this model of marriage took some time. For Radio it took almost 50 years and for TV it took close to 30 years. Do we have to wait at least 10 years if not more to embrace internet for political canvassing.
If one can buy, bank, mail and marry via internet then why not engage with politics on-line? Is this the time to change the political culture?
